In GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER Eight young artists will show their view on the banality of the Water closet. The goal: Getting the implicit, explicit! It is an experience on and around the Witte de Withstraat, before, during or after your visit to the loo.

MAMA’s ANT’s invite you to take a moment and be aware of the taboos, of this little room. During this social experiment the usual becomes unusual and the unusual usual. Whatever happens, today your buttocks will be more carefully placed on the seat.

GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER is part of the IN REAL LIFE programme pertaining to the exhibition Is There Any World to Come? by Caetano (1980, BR), currently on view at the showroom of MAMA. MAMA is a platform for visual culture and young talent in Rotterdam. MAMA realises projects and presentations on the border of contemporary art and popular culture.

Need more guidance at your visit? Join the Get Your Shit Together tour friday night at 19.00, starting at the showroom.
