SUMMER SWAP
Showroom take over by NoDoughCollective
From
Friday August 3rd 2018
until
Friday September 7th 2018
Opening Friday 3rd August, 18.00 - 23.00
Just like last year MAMA goes on holiday. Only this year NoDougCollective is taking over the showroom.
From August 3rd until September 7th MAMA takes a well-deserved break to enjoy the summer. While she regains her strength and drinks a poolside cocktail (or two), the keys of the Showroom will be left with NoDoughCollective. This temporary collective will transform the space into a testing ground for intuitive making, site specific exploration and creative collaboration.

NoDoughCollective presents HOWLING PANCAKES, a growing group-show that relies entirely on the use of scrap, recycled and donated materials.

Each week they invite a different group of artists and challenge them to create site specific works using only the materials provided to them. In doing so NodoughCollective hopes to inspire collaboration between fellow creatives and demonstrate an artist’s ability to devise and make work using little or no means. Visitors witness the various ways in which materials can be utilized. Join them for a journey to a destination unknown.

Every Friday the artists will unveil their week’s creations and hand the torch over to the next group. Keep an eye on our website or Facebook page for more information and updates on our program!

They Kick off Friday the 3rd of August, between 18.00 and 23.00
