Begin december 2007 bezochten zo’n 180 middelbare scholieren de tentoonstelling Ch ch ch changes in Showroom MAMA. In samenwerking met de SKVR ontwikkelde MAMA een schoolprogramma bestaande uit een rondleiding door de tentoonstelling met aansluitend een workshop in het teken van gedaanteverwisseling.
De werken van de jonge kunstenaars die exposeren in de tentoonstelling Ch ch ch changes laten ieder op hun eigen manier een vorm van transformatie zien en waren aanleiding om te praten over onderwerpen als het maakbare lichaam en in hoeverre je persoonlijkheid zichtbaar is in je uiterlijk. Tijdens de workshop gingen de leerlingen zelf aan de slag met het thema ‘gedaanteverwisseling’. Vanuit schaduwportretten werd geëxperimenteerd met re-styling van het lichaam. Door hun lichamen in schaduwvorm te combineren vormden leerlingen de meest uiteenlopende creaties: klonen, mutanten, virtuele helden of de meest fantastische vergroeiingen.

Beginning December 2007 approximately 180 highschool students visited the exhibition Ch ch ch changes in Showroom MAMA. In collaboration with the SKVR MAMA developed a school programme which included a tour around the exhibition with a connecting workshop related to transformation.
The works of the young artists in the exhibition show a form of transformation and were an indication to debate about subjects such as the make-able body and the way you extent your individuality to your appearance. During the workshop the students got to work with the topic transfiguration.
From shade portraits they experimented with re-styling of the body. By combining their bodies in shadow figures students formed the most divergent creations: klonen, mutants, virtual heroes or fantastic coalescences.
