MSLM
We zijn druk bezig met de voorbereiding van twee buitenlandse shows. MSLM, de tentoonstelling die we vorig jaar door Nederland lieten reizen, is dit najaar in Waqif Art Center in Doha, Qatar, te zien. Mogelijk reist de tentoonstelling tot december verder in de regio, o.a. naar Dubai. Vanzelfsprekend krijgt de show een gedeeltelijk nieuwe invulling. Natasa Heydra is wederom curator en heeft o.a. werk van Iniy Sanchez en Constanze Friedrichs geselecteerd. Waqif Art Center draagt ondertussen lokaal talent aan om bij het project te betrekken. Als het allemaal lukt én tot een interessante kruisbestuiving leidt, brengen we in 2009 in de showroom een Last Selection Best Of van MSLM Abroad.

Love, design delirium
Voor Kunstraum Niederösterreich in Wenen maken we een tentoonstelling met de titel Love, design delirium. Curator van de show is Nous Faes (directeur MAMA). De tentoonstelling laat een attitude zien die humor, compassie en het spel als creatieve basisprincipes naar voren schuift. In de lange line-up van jonge Nederlandse kunstenaars en ontwerpers staan o.a. de HuMobisten, Parra en Rafaël Rozendaal, naast buitenlandse bondgenoten als het collectief Körner Union (CH) en werk van de jonge internetkunstenaar Oliver Laric (A). Bij de tentoonstelling verschijnt een kleine catalogus, die we met ontwerper Rufus Ketting inkoppen. Te zien van 30 mei t/m 26 juli 2008. (en dit najaar in de showroom).

MSLM, the exhibition which last year travelled through the Netherlands, is this autumn in Waqif Art Center in Doha, Qatar. In December, the exhibition will possibly travel further in the region, for example to Dubai. Naturally, the show gets a partially new interpretation. Natasa Heydra is again curator and has selected work of Iniy Sanchez and Constanze Friedrichs among others. Waqif Art Center has invited local talents to involve in the project. If all succeeds and it leads to an interesting cross-pollination, we will show a Last Selection Best Of of MSLM Abroad in 2009.

Love, design delirium
For Kunstraum Niederösterreich in Vienna we make an exhibition with the title Love, design delirium. Curator of the show is Nous Faes (director MAMA). The exhibition shows an interesting attitude which combines humour, compassion and games as creative basic principles. In a line-up of young Dutch artists and designers like the HuMobisten, Parra and Rafaël Rozendaal, stand foreign allies such as the collective Körner Union (CH) and work of the young internet artist Oliver Laric (A). Along with the exhibition we will publish a small catalogue, which we develop in collaboration with designer Rufus. Love, design delirium is on show from 30 May till 26 July 2008.
