Deze installatie van Arno Coenen is het resultaat van verblijf gedurende 8 maanden in L.A. en een roadtrip dwars door de V.S. Coenen bewapend met laptop en videorecorder hield een visueel dagboek bij. Met een mix van video-footage en computeranimaties hekelt Coenen het systeem '..and all that other crap that inevitably surrounds you in America.' Dit kritische en soms hallucinerende verslag geprojecteerd op de ruiten van een oude Caddillac, is de giftige angel in de installatie.

This installation is the result of Arno Coenen's 8 month stay in L.A. and a road trip right through the U.S.A. Armed with a laptop and a video camera, Coenen kept a visual diary. With a mix of video footage and computer animations, Coenen disparages the system....'and all that other crap that invitably surrounds you in America.' This critical and at times hallucinatory report, projected on the windows of an old Caddillac, is the scorpion's sting in the installation.
