Streetmodernism
Wat op het eerste gezicht opvalt aan de tentoonstelling ‘Streetmodernism' is de visuele taal van comics, tags, games, animaties en tattoos. Een hoog knutselgehalte en een stoere vormentaal leveren imponerende, actuele underground werken op.
Maar met evenveel gemak zijn de verbanden met de klassieke beeldhouwkunst en het modernistische parool te leggen. Kortom; from the street up valt er veel te beleven.
