Skateboardregisseur Marco Grandia maakt een promotionele clip op dinsdag 25 augustus in Skatepark Westblaak van de dansinterventies Hidden Routes. Eerder deze zomer ontdekten een team met professionele skateboarders en drie dansers van Conny Janssen Danst de binnenstad van Rotterdam. De clip legt een fragment vast van de wijze waarop hedendaagse dans reageert op de dynamische bewegingen van skateboarding en de creatieve omgang met obstakels in de openbare ruimte. De clip wordt later dit jaar o.a. op de MAMA site gelanceerd.
Hidden Routes maakt deel uit van MAMA’s multimediale project Endless City waarin we de relatie tussen skateboardcultuur, de publieke ruimte en (beeldende) kunst onderzoeken, met een knipoog naar het gedachtegoed van de Internationale Situationisten.

Skateboard director Marco Grandia will make a promotional video on Tuesday August 25th at skatepark Westblaak of the dance interventions Hidden Routes.
Earlier this summer a team with professional skateboarders and three dancers of Conny Janssen Danst explored the inner city of Rotterdam. The clip shows a fragment of the way contemporary dance responses autonomously to the dynamic movements of skateboarding and to the creative interaction with obstacles in public space. The clip will a.o. be launched on the MAMA website later this year.
Hidden Routes is part of MAMA’s summer programme ‘Endless City’; a multimedial project in which we investigate the relationship between skateboardculture, public space and (visual) arts, with a sidelong reference to the ideas of the International Situationists.
