Rotterdam 1995: the seas are rising. A reclusive engineer has come to town, promising to invent a new system of dikes and dams, using a computer that harnesses the power of dreams. A pair of twins are selected for the study - gabber kids, from the local hardcore scene. But as they get sucked deeper into a digital dream world, they realize the inventor's true goal isn't to protect Rotterdam at all.

Museumnacht010 takes place on Saturday 5 March 2016 at more than thirty locations all over Rotterdam. All the museums and cultural institutions taking part are open from 8.00 p. m. until 1.00 a. m., offering a programme full of entertaining extras that provide a slightly different view of Rotterdam. For two months, from September 2015, Showroom MAMA transforms itself into 'Laff Box': a comedy club for contemporary visual- and performance artists whose work explores the boundaries between comedy and contemporary art. With Laff Box, MAMA looks at the comedy club as a setting for performance and humour as a means of expression and cultural product.

MAMA proudly presents Challenge Accepted!, a project presentation by the Animated Youngsters. The Animated Youngsters are a Rookies Junior collective that originated from the talent development program of the same name. Led by MAMA, Challenge Accepted! is the result of a process in which this group of young people quickly developed into the new generation of gaming connoisseurs.

On May 15, the first solo exhibition in the Netherlands of Amalia Ulman (1989 AR) opens at Showroom MAMA. Her 'International House of Cozy' exhibition includes a film especially produced for MAMA in which she takes her research into the boundaries of authenticity and consumerism to its extreme. The title also refers to a feeling of coziness and 'home' as marketed through lifestyle blogs and websites such as Airbnb or pinterest.

MAMA proudly presents Infinite Monkey Theorem, Riley Harmon's (1987, US) first solo exhibition. Harmon, currently in residence at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam, showcases two new film installations at Showroom MAMA. The exhibition opens on Friday 6 March and runs until 26 April.

MAMA is proud to collaborate with Susan Kooi for The Others: staygold! Susan Kooi is a remarkable young Dutch artist, whose practice is as versatile as it is diverse. Her work transcends all disciplines and includes, sound, music, video, sculpture, fashion, and much more. She is half of the performance duo echo+seashell and also part of artist collective Samet Yilmaz (formerly known as kunstenaarsinitiatief Beyoncé). For The Others, Susan has developed Lutra Lutra Lutra, the Renaissance of the Italian Otter, a project in response to the environment of Turin.

On Sunday 31 May, in cooperation with the Laurenskerk Rotterdam and the label All Together Now, MAMA proudly presents "Playing With A Big Organ", a unique performance by the Dogs Of $hame [DO$]. At the heart of this major happening are a temporary choir and the Netherlands' largest church organ.

Showroom MAMA proudly presents The Internetional, a two-day symposium focusing on one of the most important areas of visual culture today: the Internet. Curators, artists, and theorists will discuss this topic with each other and the public in a diverse program of panel discussions, dialogues, lectures, and workshops. The impact of the Internet and social media on visual culture in general has been substantial. A young generation of contemporary artists, defined as Post Internet, have surfaced on social media and in exhibition spaces.
